the Beijing Olympic logo looked like a North Korean refugee fleeing!

This is even more powerful.

10월 19일 12시 정오에 2168 Rayburn House Office Building에서 탈북자들을 도와준 혐의로 중국에 수감되었다가 석방된 이후 처음으로 스티브 김씨의 연설이 있을 예정입니다.

 

김 씨는 탈북자를 대한 중국의 범죄 행위와 그들을 도운 자들에 대한 처벌행위에 관한 주제로 토론할 예정입니다. 참석하고자 하시는 분들은 회신을 부탁드립니다.

Please remember (everyone around the world) YOU are needed: The

International Protest Against China's Violent Treatment of North

Korean Refugees at noon around the world on November 30 and December 1

-- go to your nearest Chinese embassy or consulate at noon to take a

stand for the suffering North Korean refugees. We are still

recruiting city and county coordinators and need someone in San

Francisco and Houston. These cities have coordinators: Los Angeles

set for Nov 30; New York set for Dec 1, Chicago set for Dec 1 , and

Washington DC set for both Nov 30 and Dec 1. Also, we need more

country coordinators. We have coordinators for Canada, Belgium,

France, Germany, South Korea (of course!), England, Spain, Netherlands

-- if you can be a coordinator for a city or country or have any

recommendations, please let me know ASAP. Remember coordinators can

simply deliver a petition at noon, hold a prayer vigil, and do not

need to organize a large protest (as we are doing in many cities) --

the point is action in front of as many Chinese embassies and

consulates as possible around the world.

여러분들은 필요한 존재라는 것을 기억해 주세요. "11월 30일 - 12월 1일 양일간 전 세계에서 12시 정오에 탈북자들을 학대한 중국에 대항하는 범국제적 항의의사 전달" -- 오후 12시 정오에 여러분이 계시는 곳에서 가장 가까운 중국 대사관이나 영사관을 찾아 가셔서 고통받는 탈북자들을 위해 자리를 지켜 서 주시기 바랍니다.

 

우리는 도시나 나라별 진행자들을 모집하고 있으며 현재 샌프란시스코와 휴스턴 지역에 사람이 필요합니다. 다음 도시들에는 진행자들이 이미 모집되었습니다.

 

로스앤젤레스(11월 30일), 뉴욕(12월 1일), 시카고(12월 1일), 워싱턴 DC(11월 30일, 12월 1일). 또한 나라별 진행자들이 더욱 필요한 실정입니다. 다음과 같은 나라에는 진행자들이 있습니다. 캐나다, 벨기에, 프랑스, 독일, 한국, 영국, 스페인, 네덜란드. 만약 도시별로 나라별로 진행자가 되시고자 한다면 혹은 추천할만한 사람들이 있다면 되도록 빨리 알려주시기 바랍니다.

 

진행자들은 12시에 청원서를 전달할 수 있어야하며, 철야기도를 이끌 수 있어야 합니다. 그리고 많은 사람들로 구성할 필요는 없습니다. 왜냐하면 많은 도시에서 이 일이 이루어질 것이기 때문입니다. 요점은 행동입니다. 바로 중국 대사관과 영사관 앞에서 가능하면 전 세계가 함께 행동을 취하는 것입니다.
