Gov't considering ways to pressure North Korea

TOKYO — Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi said Monday the Japanese government is considering specific steps to put pressure on North Korea to reach solutions on various issues, while keeping dialogue going.
"We are considering how to resolve the abduction, nuclear and other issues comprehensively and what measures are effective to that end both in terms of dialogue and pressure," Koizumi told reporters at his office. (Kyodo News)

1. No landing of any NK ships or other craft on Japanese soil.
2. No further shipments of food, fuel, anything.
3. Rapid escalation of a Japanese nuclear weapons program together with medium range missiles.
4. Economic sanctions against any nation that trades with NK and wishes to also trade with Japan.
5. Round up and jailing of any NK sympathizers on Japanese soil.
6. Closing of all facilities in Japan that presently front for NK.
